Part 2: Creative Ways to Use Freeze Frames Change the Still Image Duration setting to the length you would like and exit the menu, your freeze frames will now be added at the new duration.In the Preferences window, select Editing.Go to the Final Cut Pro Menu and click on Preferences.You can also change how long the default frame is in the preferences menu. You can adjust the length of the frame by dragging the end of it in the timeline, as you would any other clip. When your freeze frame is added, the default duration is 4 seconds.
